In co-operation with our representative in Germany Scantec Industrieanlagen GmbH Hekotek has signed a delivery contract for equipment supply to Czarnkow (Western Poland), operating under the management of the German Steico AG.
According to the newly signed contract beginning of 2009 Hekotek and partners (Valon Kone OY, Heinola Sawmill Machinery Ltd.) are to launch a log debarking and chipping line.
The new line is to ensure proper raw materials supply to a large production unit located in the same site and manufacturing environmental-friendly insulation materials from natural wood fibres.
Steico AG is European market leader in its field. Pan-European concern of Steico AG employs over 900 people, headquarters of the company located in Feldkirchen close to Munich. Production plants in Czarnków and Czarna Woda (Poland) and Casteljaloux (France) are equipped with state-of-the-art-machinery and facilities to manufacture high quality products from wood and hemp fibres, as well as a range of I-joist construction products.
