Last week, Region Les launched a new pellet palnt in Arkhangelsk, the equipment supplied by Hekotek.
The new plant is different from other projects previously implemented in the region – the raw material for future pellets is low-grade logs, which is cut into chips during the production process, and further on – into sawdust.
At the moment, the plant equipment complex consists of three CPM pellet mills and two drum drying lines of Hekotek own production. The plant’s capacity makes up about 80 thousand ton per year, but in the near future it is planned to add another drying line, which will increase the annual capacity up to 100 thousand ton pellets.
