Despite travel restrictions imposed around the world, we have signed the contract for the supply of pellet plant complex to equipment for the Russian company JSC S-DOK (a part of the Segezha group), located in the town if Sokol, Vologda region.
The annual capacity of the future plant will make up about 65 thousand ton finished wood pellets, produced from the sawmill and quality grading residuals of the same enterprise. Stela belt dryer will be installed to dry the sawdust, which will further on be granulated into pellets by means of two CPM pellet mills. The storage capacity for the ready pellets is to reach about 2000 tons. The major part of the future pellets is planned to be exported to the Central European market.
While the initial engineering design and construction works onsite have already been started, the delivery of the plant equipment is scheduled for spring 2021, with the plant to be launched in autumn 2021.
This project has been and still is a challenge for all of us, as all the communication has been carried out by electronic communication channels.
We express our gratitude to Segezha Group for the continued cooperation – in 2018 we successfully launched a pellet plant for one of the largest timber processing company located in Krasnoyarsk region – Lesosibrski LDK No.1, being also a part of Segezha Group.
