ULK Group of companies located in the Arkhangelsk region of Russia plans to build a wood processing facility, which is to become the largest one both in the northwest of Russia and also as compared to the sawmill facilities in the Nordic countries. The new plant in the village of Karpogory is to annually process about 2.5 million m3 of logs. We at Hekotek are proud to be chosen as one of the equipment suppliers for this project.

The equipment scale to be supplied by Hekotek includes log in-feed lines through four Valon Kone debarkers to two HewSaw sawlines, as well as a conveyor system for wood chips, sawdust and bark collecting, sorting and storing.

Considering the volume of the equipment to be supplied, the project time schedule is rather long – the first equipment units are to be delivered in spring-summer 2022, while . The start-up of the equipment of the new sawmill complex is planned approximately a year later.

Hekotek has been supplying wood processing equipment to ULK Group for over 10 years, with the first deliveries for Ustyansky LPK sawmill made already in 2010.

We thank ULK for the confidence and hope for a successful cooperation to be continued.
