Last week AS Hekotek and Titan Group of Companies (Arkhangelsk) signed a contract on construction of totally new production plant on the territory of Tsiglomen sector of Sawmill 25 JSC.
The new sawmill will be constructed green-field next to the currently operating one. Its initial annual capacity is to make up some 500 thousand m3 of sawn raw material, with provided possibility of extension up to 800 thousand m3.
Hekotek was chosen as a general supplier of equipment for the new sawmill. All the basic equipment suppliers are the same as for Maimaksa sector of the sawmill that has been successfully working for over 6 years already: Linck saw line, ValonKone debarker, Hekotek log sorting and feeding line, waste conveyors, two green timber sorting lines and one dry sorting line.
The new sawmill is planned to be launched by year 2012.
