Former Head of Engineering Priit Saaremägi has been appointed Development manager.
Here’s how he comments on his appointment:
– I have worked at Hekotek for over 20 years, holding positions of engineer, project management, sales specialist and head of the engineering department. As a Development Manager I see my goal as follows: to strengthen the company’s product development process, make it more systematic, and even better connected with sales, engineering and production.
I want our solutions to be more technically sound and better prepared even before the pre-sales stage, so we can offer customers more reliable and competitive equipment.
In collaboration with the sales department, I want to develop solutions that will help us formulate our proposals more accurately based on a customer needs. An important part of my job is also collecting customer and market feedback to guide product development in line with market needs and trends. This way, we can better ensure Hekotek’s competitiveness and our continued technological development.
Kauri Kaadu will lead the engineering department. Kauri’s previous experience includes establishing the hydraulics and pneumatics department at Hekotek’s subsidiary, SBA OÜ. Recently, he led the process of the company’s digitalization and was responsible for the operation and development of our ERP system. We know that engineering design is a key bottleneck in any company like ours. At the same time we are confident that under Kauri’s leadership, we will be able to take our engineering team’s planning and digitalization to the next level. With more efficient planning, documentation, and information flow, we will certainly be able to speed up the entire engineering design process and minimize the number of possible errors.
