In summer of 2024, Hekotek signed a contract on supply of a complex pellet plant equipment to the pulp and paper company Arctic Paper Grycksbo AB (Sweden) within the BIO-25 project.
The project is currently about to complete, and the first batches of raw materials have already arrived at the new pellet plant. Equipment tests will continue until early January. After that pellet production will continue in the regular operation mode.
The production process will utilize excess of heat generated by paper-making machines. This will ensure the company to reduce paper production costs as well as to create a new business line related to the manufacture and sales of wood pellets.
