At the largest Baltic sawmill – StoraEnso Imavere Sawmill – there has been launched a new pellet plant, annual production capacity – up to 100 000 ton of pellets.
Only three weeks ago the new mill produced its first pellets. According to the contract terms, pellet production volume was to make up at least 864 ton during 3 days of final tests. Due to joint effort of both sides the required results has been successfully achieved. Important feature of the new mill is a possibility to use for pellet production all the sawmill wastes – sawdust, chips, shavings, and solid waste pieces.
Together with our customer we are very happy about the results and hope continue our long-term cooperation, which started as far back as 1994.
