Hekotek AS has signed a contract for equipment delivery to a new sawmill complex of Lesplitinvest company, located in Priozersk (Leningrad region, Russia). In this project –similarly to several previous projects – Hekotek fulfills obligations of the equipment general supplier, acting in close cooperation with Finnish equipment manufacturers – Veisto Oy (sawline equipment) and Valon Kone OY (a debarking machine). Together with those companies we have already sucessfully realised several projects in different countries.
Set of Hekotek equipment manufactured for Lesplitinvest sawmill includes log sorting line, log feeding equipment to the sawline, combined sawn timber sorting line for green and dry material and sawing residue handling conveyors.
Delivery of log sorting line is planned by the end of the year, delivery of sawmill equipment is to be started beginning of 2015. Both deliveries will be continued by installations and beginning of summer 2015 the new sawmill is to be launched. The new sawmill annual designed capacity makes up as much as about 130 000 m³ of sawn timber.
