Ksilotek-Sibir LLC (Segezha Group, part of the joint-stock financial corporation Sistema) and SORB LLC (represents AS Hekotek in Russia) signed an agreement on the supply of technological equipment for pellet production. The new facility annual capacity is to make up 100,000 tons of ready pellets.
Delivery time – the first quarter of 2018. Supplier – AS Hekotek (Estonia). Contract cost – 6.9 million euros. The plant will be located on the site of LDK No.1 in Lesosibirsk (Krasnoyarsk Region).
The new production is a part of the priority investment project in the field of forest development ‘Development of a full-cycle woodworking complex in the town of Lesosibirsk’, released in September 2015 and meant for 5 years’ period. The project provides integrated use of forest resources, including waste management by converting it into wooden pellets and heat energy.
In this project Hekotek will supply advanced but time-proven technical solutions to ensure rapid start-up and steady operation of the equipment from the very beginning. The start-up of the plant is planned for the second half of 2018.
