February 3, 2009 a new wood pellet plant was launched at Stora Enso Timber group’s Gruvön sawmill in Grums, Sweden. Hekotek was the main contractor of the mill construction project, also involving there several well-known equipment producers, such as Bruks AB (Sweden), Andritz Sprout AS (Denmark), Stela Laxhuber GmbH (Germany), Fisker (Denmark).
By means of own-produced equipment and know-how Hekotek successfully managed its main task in the project realisation – construction of an integrated production line from the units delivered by different producers and located in different parts of the mill. The new mill annual production capacity makes up some 100 000 ton.
