AS Hekotek and 4 Energia signed an agreement for complex pellet plant equipment delivery to Latvia (a town of Brocheni – ca. 100 km westwards from Riga) – designed annual capacity being up to 120 th. of pellets. As a raw material there will be used both wood wastes (saw dust and wood chips) to be purchased in the local market, as well as low-grade wood (pulp wood, fuel chips) that requires debarking and milling.

Efficiency of the advanced technological solutions which Hekotek applied in this project have already been proved in the previously realised projects of Hekotek. A debarking line is produced by Hekotek in cooperation with Savico (Canada), whereas chipping units are supplied by BRUKS (Sweden).

The pelletizing line will be equipped with a pellet press (4,5 ton/h capacity) by the Dutch producer CPM Europe and a belt dryer by Stela-Laxhuber GmbH (Germany). The rest units, conveyor systems, silos and other components will be constructed by Hekotek in Estonia. Besides, as a general supplier of the project, Hekotek takes responsibility not only for the complete delivery of the pellet plant complex equipment, but realisation of the project in general, incl. pellet plant installation, commissioning and the soonest start-up of the pellet production facility.

We thank owners and management of 4 Energia for the trust and hope to continue cooperation in future!
